Merrivale Model Village is situated in an acre of landscaped gardens, this miniature village is built to 1:12 scale. The gardens are illuminated after dark between July and September. Pettitts Animal Adventure Park has rides for the children, family entertainment and exotic and domestic animals to feed and stroke. Thrigby Hall Wildlife Gardens has a wide range of monkeys, birds, pandas, wild cats and numerous other animals.
