To make life that bit simpler, you can even use your tent, touring caravan or motor home. Or why not rent a beautiful caravan holiday home or a lodge in one of Scotland’s numerous caravan parks, this would allow you to take it easy and explore particular areas in better detail.
Caravan holidays are a great option for couples and children alike, whatever the weather turn out like, there is always something to keep you busy and various entertainment programs. Most parks have activities and indoor leisure facilities on-site and others like to provide peace and quiet surrounded by breathtaking, wide open countryside.

Auchnahillin Caravan Park is a very friendly family run 10 acre park, located in a beautiful glen surrounded by forests, mountains and moors. It is situated just 10 minutes south-east of Inverness. With stunning views over the trees and hills. You can often see Rabbits running around the park.
Craig Tara Holiday Park is situated on the lovely Ayrshire coastline and comes packed with day and night-time entertainment, Craig Tara is a wonderful place for a fun, exciting, action packed family holiday. Under 5s will have a great time in the Playroom or the fun activities in the PAW’s Club. Older children can have a great time with Rory and Bradley’s FunTime, and teenagers can choose from various activities at T-Co. There is also the SplashZone heated indoor Funpool which has flumes will be fun for all the family.
Loch Ness Caravan Park is ideally located making it a perfect starting point to tour the Highlands. Inverness is only 14 miles going east. The west coast area is a perfect 1 hour’s drive and has idyllic places of interest like Eilean Donan Castle and the Isle of Skye. Fort Augustus is where the Caledonian Canal runs through the village and is only a 20 minute drive away.
