Caravan holidays Wales

Wales has some of the most stunning and picturesque scenery in the UK. Snowdonia National Park’s 840 square miles extends from the Conwy River in the north to Machynlleth in the south and eastwards to Bala. It has the mountain ranges of Tryfan, the Glyderau, the Moelwynion, Aran and Arennig, Cader Idris and the most well known mountain, Snowdon, the highest peak south of the Scottish border at 3560 ft.

The Welsh coastline has various parks with sand filled beaches and wonderful harbours, the Victorian resort of Llandudno is the biggest. Llangollen hosts the International Musical Eisteddfod in July every year.

The beautiful island of Anglesey is located on the North West coast of Wales and is separated from the mainland by the 15-mile long Menai Strait is home to the village of Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogogoch.

There are numerous excellent caravan parks and campsites in Wales. All very different and offered different entertainment and facilities, including Nant Newydd Park, Pen Isaf Farm Caravan Park, Penybont Touring & Camping Park, Vanner Caravan Park, Awelfryn Caravan Park, Cwm Cadnant Valley Caravan and Camping Park, Brynowen Holiday Park, Seaview Holiday Home Park, Garnedd Touring and Campsite and Pen-y-Bryn Country Park.

Woodlands is a family Park for static and touring caravans. Located within the Snowdonia National Park it gives a perfect starting point for exploring the area with its breathtaking scenery and local towns and villages. The Park is located at the foot of Harlech Castle, built c1290 and is now a World Heritage Site. The Castle and its excellent sylvan slope give an ideal backdrop to the Park which houses 21 Static Caravans and a Touring section.

Plas Caravan Park is located on the ring road between Rhosneigr and Aberffraw, perfect for the wonderful Beaches. The Park caters for 67 privately owned Static Caravan’s.

Tree Tops is a 5 star, award winning Caravan Park situated in 15 acres and boasts an elevated position with excellent views over the Dee Estuary and the Wirral Peninsula. It is an ideal place to unwind and get away from the stresses of everyday life. Tree Tops Caravan Park is an ideal starting point for exploring North Wales.

You can either book your static caravan holiday in Wales through an agent or you can book directly with the caravan owner. Wales provides something for everyone, and a caravan holiday is the ideal way to get in the thick of it, exploring mountains, forests and stunning natural beauty.
