Church Point Caravan Park is the perfect place to relax and have a well earned bit of peace and quiet. The views across the bay are picturesque and you can enjoy coastal walks, the sandy beach or even a game of golf on the course next to the Park. Just a short 3-mile drive through Newbiggin-by-the-Sea brings you to Sandy Bay Holiday Park where you can make use of the facilities and enjoy the entertainment, should you wish. Alternatively, visit Newbiggin for shops, takeaways and pubs.
There are no facilities or entertainment on the Park at Church Point. Guests staying at this quiet and relaxing Park are welcome to make use of the facilities, and enjoy the Sports and Leisure activities and family entertainment on offer at Sandy Bay Holiday Park just a short drive away. This park would ideally be suited to a couple looking for a romantic break as it is so traquil and peaceful. Unless you make use of the facilities at another site, there is not much for children to do here.
The park offers 129 Static 2 for Hire, Launderette and Sandy Beach.
Whatever you may enjoy, from fishing to mountain biking or golf to history, Church Point Caravan Park is the perfect place to enjoy any activity you like, at your leisure.
There are numerous excellent activities outside the park, Farne Island is one of the most famous Sea Bird Sanctuaries in the British Isles they also have a large colony of Atlantic or Grey Seals. Join one of the many year-round trips and explore this most glorious of British archipelagoes on one of the fleet of seagoing motor vessels. Castle Mania has a themed indoor adventure play area for children under 12 with over 40 play and interactive features. There is also a soft play area and mini football court for toddlers. Hadrian’s Wall Cycleway and Collingwood Monument – Cycle along Hadrian’s Wall and enjoy the breathtaking scenery including the monument of Admiral Lord Collingwood who was Admiral Nelson’s second in command at the Battle of Trafalgar.
Newbiggin By The Sea is an attractive seaside town which, over the centuries, has made great use of its links with the sea. At one time the town was third only in importance to London and Hull for the shipping of corn, and it still maintains a small fleet of the traditional Northumbrian fishing cobles. Cod caught by these boats can be enjoyed at restaurants in the town.
Church Point Caravan Park may not have onsite activities but it is still a great place to just get way from it all. Sit back and enjoy the peaceful lifestyle, with marvelous scenery to stunning coastal walk.
