Martello Beach Caravan Park
Martello Beach Caravan Park has it all. Located in Clacton on Sea, with its magnificent Pier, it offers plenty to keep the whole family amused. With traditional amusements, stalls, shops and excellent views of the Essex Sunshine Coast. Clacton Pier is the biggest fun pier in Europe with 13 fairground rides, including a new flight simulator.
With 7 beautiful miles of walking, swimming or sandcastle-making on the Essex Sunshine Coast, all accessible from the Park. Clacton’s popular pier and seaside shops just a short drive away.
The whole family will enjoy the indoor and outdoor pools and Sparky and his Krew will keep the children entertained throughout the day. Have some wonderful evening entertainment in the East Beach Showbar, with Sparky’s Krew shows and visiting cabaret at Bank Holidays and during peak weeks.
There is also much to do outside the park including visiting Highwoods Country Park which offers a wide range of wildlife situated in 330 acres of stunning landscape. Have a family picnic and enjoy fishing in the lakes or take a walk on one of the numerous trails. Park Fruit Farm has over 55 varieties of fruit, you can even watch the apples being pressed to apple juice or pick your own raspberries and blackberries.Martello Tower Visual Arts Centre was recently renovated as Martello Tower and is an amazing state of the art environment for exhibitions, events and workshops. This major venue includes a multi-media studio with floor to ceiling projection screen.
There is also various other activities available, whether you enjoy Fishing & Angling, Walking & Rambling, Birds & Nature, Gardens & Houses, Antiques & Shopping, Horse & Dog Racing, Golf, Water Sports or even Horse Riding.
Clacton Pier Sea Fishing is permitted from 9am-5pm daily. £5 per person, payable at the Pier Office. You do not need a Rod Licence to fish from the Pier. Annual season tickets allowing 24 hour fishing are available at a cost of £50.
This park offers great value for money, there i something for everyone here and the kids will be kept entertained while you take a well earned break. Also ideal for couples as the stunning landscape surrounding the park gives the perfect romantic setting.
