Sandy Bay Caravan Park is a great place for your next caravan holiday. Relax in wide open spaces, on golden sandy beaches or explore castles and quaint market towns. Northumberland has many areas of outstanding natural beauty including the Cheviot Hills and from the park you can enjoy magnificent cliff top views of the sandy beach.
This fun filled Park has stunning views out to sea, as well as some great landscaping and it’s very own Lake. Take a dip in the indoor pool, have a game of darts or take the kids to see Sparky and his Krew for lots of fun and games! In the evening, visit the Boathouse bar for a drink, then into the Beach Showbar for quizzes and games, amazing shows and lots of dancing!
The park offers 545 Static caravans on site, 39 of which are for Hire.

You can also venture off the park grounds and visit some great attractions like Farne Island which is the most famous Sea Bird Sanctuary in the British Isles they also have a huge colony of Atlantic or Grey Seals. Join one of the many year-round trips and explore this most amazing of British archipelagos on one of the fleet of seagoing motor vessels. Castle Mania has a themed indoor adventure play area for children under 12 with over 40 play and interactive features. There is also a soft play area and mini football court for toddlers. Cragside Country Park is a Victorian house located in 900 acres of hillside, lakes and woodlands with paths, labyrinth and country drives. This house was the first in the world to be lit by electricity. Whitehouse Farm Centre is an all-weather fun attraction with everything from traditional farm animals and pets to adventure playground, tractor and trailer rides and seasonal events. Whitley Bay Ice Rink provides ice skating and bowling.
Northumberland itself is a wonderful place filled with ancient castles, golden sand beaches, hills, moorland and friendly market towns.It is home to England’s least visited national park, which means you can go into the hills and avoid the crowds for a bit f peace and quiet.
There are also two Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty, the Northumberland Coast with its stunning sandy beaches and magnificent castles, and the North Pennines with its heather covered hills and breathtaking wildlife.
