Customer Review: Disappointing coverage

Although the guide seems to indicate rather large amounts of campsites in France, Greece and Spain, the coverage in the rest of Europe is rather limited. Maybe AA should have issued separate guides for the more popular camping destinations, so the ‘rest’ of Europe may have been covered in a little bit more detail in this guide.

inspecting and selecting the very best campsites in the UK, France, Spain, Italy and the rest of Europe!

This guide is good if you are touring the UK with a couple of options for each town/area. However, it doesn’t list all campsites (Just AA members), so you may need to use an alternative reference book or the internet when the season is busy and you can’t get a booking on the campsites listed for your preferred area. The Irish listings are extremely poor!! Only five pages out of the whole book are for Irish campsites, so don’t buy this book if you are going there. The word ‘Ireland’ should not be on the title with such a miniscule reference as this – very misleading.

Customer Review: a really useful guide
[nms:caravan guide AA,3]
I have bought previous years guides and found this guide the most consistently useful of any I have used
