Ty Mawr Caravan Park holidays

Ty Mawr Caravan Park is full of character, situated in Abergele, a small yet busy market town with a beautiful sandy beach. Nearby Rhyl has all the fun of the seaside with promenade, amusements and fair, whilst the rugged mountains and deep valleys close by show some of the best scenery in Wales. The indoor fun pool with flume, the crazy adventure playground and Sparky’ Krew with fun activities will keep the children amused for hours! There is also much to see and do outside the park, Rhyl, Prestatyn & Llandudno boasts miles of sandy beaches, shopping, markets and funfairs this makes a great day out for all the family. Gwydyr Forest is situated in the centre of the Snowdonia National Park, Gwydyr Forest is run and managed by the Forestry Commission. As the forest has so many diverse habitats including upland lakes, rivers, upland oak woodlands, large conifers and open spaces, a wide variety of birds, mammals and plants live there which you may be able to spot. Alice in Wonderland Centre is an unforgettable experience for all ages, with walk-through wonderland and life-sized animated displays of some of the most well known scenes from the Alice in Wonderland story. Anglesey Sea Zoo is Wales’s biggest marine aquarium. With over 50 species to see the tour takes you through a Shipwreck, a walkover the Shark Pool and then onto the wonders of the Open Ocean. The Welsh Mountain Zoo has so many animals to see including pandas, camels, monkeys, bears, children’s farm animals, birds and reptiles.

At Ty Mawr you’re close to the fun and amusements of seaside Rhyl, or you could even spend the day exploring the magnificent mountains and breathtaking waterfalls of nearby Snowdonia by car, on foot or on horseback or a day out at Caernarfon castle. Why not visit the famous seaside town of Llandudno and its Victorian pier. This is the ideal place for a family holiday as there is so much to see and do. There will be something to suit every taste and many thrilling activities for the children to enjoy.
